Canadian Classic Pizza - so delicious!
I kept going down the wrong street trying to visit this place with a family member. I am a failed vegan and a 20-year vegetarian, and I love pizza from here. I was ecstatic that they have Beyond Meat and Field Roast pepperoni here, but I was buying it so much and using those 1 survey coupons way too often. I slowed down 'cause I was packing on the pounds and started eating here in moderation. (The cheesecake is dangerous too.) I don't know why, but I hate the vegan cheese so I always end up getting dairy cheese, defeating the whole idea of "vegan" pizza. I haven't been here in a while, but I was talking about this place so much with a relative to the point where I talked her into wanting to come here even if I didn't. For that alone, they deserve a 5-star review. I'm hoping nothing has changed in the past few months so my review still remains the same if staff changed. Fro 2019 to mid-2024, they were A-OK with me.
I love ordering from Sarpinos. Their pizza never misses and it is always cooked to perfection. I’m always satisfied and enjoy the food!

okay I've never heard of this restaurant before last week when I tried one on a whim, because it was the only place open at the time. didn't expect much but got a personal pizza with black olives and onions and it was the best pizza I've had in my life. The bread is amazing...I was thinking about it two days later and took the family here. Asked if there was any specials and he said if we signed up for the app we would get 15% off. He was happily telling us about the pizzas and the rest of the food they had, it's very nice to see somebody that knows a lot about what they do and enthusiastic about it. anyways we were given a nice discount despite only placing a 35 w/tax order. The food is wonderful. We also tried the wings (9?), they only had a couple of flavors available thay day (sold out) but they gave us barbecue on the side which is what we wanted anyways. The wife got some type of chicken alfredo pizza? I forgot. I got the taco pizza which was very good and not too hot with jalapenos. They were flavorful, not the type of in a cheap jar or anything. these were very good jalapenos. everything was proportioned correctly on the taco pizza so you could taste everything. Kid said the wings were greasy but that's a kid that only eats chicken nuggets so she doesn't know what she's talking about. I thought the wings were great and not greasy at all. The other review I made last week said how the pizza was so fantastic I didn't make it two and a half blocks back to my event, I sat in the car and ate it because I couldn't help myself after one bite. I wanted to visit the same location but that one was quite a drive so we went to Evanston. If you come to Chicago for pizza, this is the place. I don't care what the natives might say. There's also locations in Florida and other states.
First time in this Sarpino's and the staff was really welcoming and friendly. The chicken pizza is the same quality I've always enjoyed, very delicious with Chipotle sauce. Will come back again if I'm in the area.
